Interesting Survey

I found this on EDSBS and thought I should share my answers here as well. Go on over and give them a response.

1. Education. List the region of the country you were born in, what universities you attended and at least one other you would have attended if your alma mater didn’t exist.

Born in Cincy. Grew up in Houston TX, Richmond VA, and Indianapolis. Went to University of Memphis and now attend Strayer University Online. Graduate with my BSA next march. I always dreamed of going to ND but my GPA in High School was so so. I got accepted into Purdue but my parents moved to Memphis so I went there.

2. Sports Affiliations. List your top 10 favorite teams in all of sports in descending order. For instance, your alma mater’s football team may be number 1, but perhaps there is a professional team that squeezes in before you get to your alma mater’s lacrosse team.

High: Garth Brooks(No one else was listening to country. I played it loud and proud to piss everyone off. I can hardly stand him now.)

Fav: Stephen King’s The Dark tower series: The Gunslinger(I was a teenager and was hooked)
Worst: The Koran (PoliSci class at Univ. of Memphis)
Need to read: Purpose Driven Life. (My dad wants me to read it)

6. Travel. Favorite city you’ve ever been to and the one place you still must visit before you shuffle off this mortal coil.

Father's Day Present

I got my Father's Day present early:

This music is awesome. I thought this might be a little on the cheesy side, but it really works. I heard some previews on amazon and really dug it. Now that I have listened to the full CD's I think that Metallica in this format really resonates. If you can step back from thinking about it as Metallica music and just think of it as bluegrass it is just a great representation of what modern bluegrass can be.
